We get quite a rivalry tonight on ABC's Monday Night Football,these two clubs have no love for each other at all! The line has been set at Denver -5 and has not moved all week. Historically the Raiders have feasted on their opponents on Monday Nights and also have been a good bet playing at Denver. Last week in their home opener vs The Bengals the silver and black were a game time chalk of -12, reading the box scores the Raiders won, watching the game was a different story. Oakland did not have its best "D" on the field that day and Cincy put up 287 yards passing and rushed for 129. If Shanahan and his Broncos happened to watch any film of that Raider , Cincy game they know why Oakland was able to beat the Bengals in spite of a 415-237 offense disadvantage,a 27-12 first down disadvantage and being behind in time of possesion 39:24-20:36-turnovers. The Raiders had none and they intercepted Kitna twice, need I say more. Being an avid sports bettor I have been on the wrong end of many a turnover and it can make for some sleepless nights...well back to the game. Plummer has 3 intercepts this season while Gannon has none and with out his wide reciever Porter he is limited out there, tonight could be his first pick of the season. The Broncos on the other hand have a clear advantage on offense with their talented wide outs going up against Oaklands young make shift secondary. Denvers QB and Running back are both slated to start tonight, while Oak's R.Woodson and J.Porter are doubtful.We really like the line on this game, Denver -5. When setting my own line for this match-up I couldnt make Denver any less than -7, thats what we call value in a line.
